On-line vaccinator updates

The Immunisation Advisory Centre has now launched an on-line vaccinator training update course for health professionals. It can be completed on-line at iCOMET. It has been developed to assist health professionals to gain up-to-date information about immunisation. Completion of the course supports practice nurses in re-gaining their authorisation as an independent vaccinator. The RNZCGP has approved the learning module for up to 4 education hours = 8 credits for CME/MOPS. It is designed by the Immunisation Advisory Centre, University of Auckland, peer reviewed and based on up-to-date New Zealand and international research. There is a cost involved of $45.00.
