Nurse Education

Investing in Futures

We need to ‘grow our own’ nursing workforce, so we have created: Investing in Futures.

Scholarships

The new government health strategies and other documents, such as Meeting the needs of People with Chronic Conditions identify an increased need for nurses with specialist skills in order to meet the health objectives set. To achieve these objectives the Ministry of Health has devolved the postgraduate funding, previously held by the Clinical Training Agency (CTA) to the District Health Boards. This then allows the Boards to develop their nursing workforce according to their planned needs in the community.

As the Nurse Coordinator: Postgraduate CTA programs, I would like to invite you to apply for this funding to assist with your study. I have provided information which you may find useful in accessing this funding but am also very happy to chat with you if you require further information.
