About Pinnacle

Organisation map

Pinnacle is all about primary health care. We have been working to support high quality health services in the central part of the North Island of New Zealand since the mid 1990s and we are made up of two distinct organisations.

Pinnacle Incorporated is a General Practice Network having as members doctors, nurses and other staff from the general practice team.

Pinnacle Group Ltd (PGL) is a Management Services organisation that provides a range of services to support Primary Health Organisations (PHOs) and general practice.

Since it was set up, Pinnacle has been focused on supporting and developing the professional and quality aspects of general practice. Pinnacle supports the attainment of the standards by providing education, information systems and clinical advice to all the health professionals in the network. Pinnacle supports a network of peer groups to help us deliver these services across wide areas of both urban and rural New Zealand.
